Single cap, (sometimes called rapid rivets) metal rivets in a choice of sizes and finishes in packs of 100. Easy and quick to fix.Ā
Made from steel, these rivets are an economical way to secure leather together. Available in four sizes for different thickness of leather, with a variety of finishes to suit your finished project, and with a slightly raised domed cap.Ā
To determine which size rivet you need, allow for 1-2mm of the post to show outside the layers of leather to get a good fix.
The post dimension of the rivet is approximately 2-3mm so use the size 1 punch from the Mini Punch SetĀ 3003-00Ā orĀ 3240-00Ā Deluxe Rotary Punch or the individualĀ 3777-01Ā drive punch.
To set the rivets you will needĀ 8100-00Ā setting tool for the small to large sizes andĀ 8100-01Ā setting tool for extra small plus a Mini AnvilĀ 8056-00.
Please note the Antique Copper, Antique Brass and Antique Nickel rivets are all nickel free.
